PENIS LENGTHENING

It is a surgical procedure that has the ultimate goal of increasing the length of the penis. It is commonly associated with other aesthetic genital procedures such as pexy of the pubis, liposuction of the genital region, peno-scrotal plasty and the enlargement of the glans, but more importantly with the increase in the thickness of the penis.

It is important to first know the anatomy of the genital region. There is usually a single suspensory ligament that joins the inner portion of the penis with the pubic bone. Sometimes we can even delimit a superficial or infundibular ligament to perform the section of the same to the limit of the prostate vessels, either with laser or electrocautery, allows us to perform a previous "slip" of the internal portion of the penis and thus accentuating the length and aesthetics of the penis. The degree of length obtained depends on the length of the ligament itself and the angle in relation to the pubic bone. We can give an idea of the length we are going to obtain, but as it is a deep structure in the tissues, there is no consistency. Only through clinical assessment with the surgeon's experience and palpation can we infer the dimensions at the end of the procedure. In general terms, the result is 3 to 5 cm larger than the previous measurement, the flaccid state with some influence on the erect state of approximately 40%.

The cut of the ligament itself is harmless to the body and is characterized by very little discomfort during recovery. If we seek a recovery faster than usual shortening the periods of recovery for the patient to return to their daily activities, it is recommended the use of last generation laser. This is accompanied during surgery by a minimum amount of blood loss and minimal pain due to the reduction in the level of tissue inflammation. When performing the cut of the same, we are not compromising the capacity of erection nor the angle of erection of the patient. The "support" or anchoring of the penis to the body is not the suspensory ligament.

The use of "extensor" apparatus of the penis such as traction systems or pumps is recommended, although not the rule. These are used to prevent the normal retraction of the tissues in the healing period and thus guarantee the result of the surgery. These devices, by themselves, only promise incredible and unrealistic results. They should only be used for good results along with the surgery.

Formerly spacers were used between the two ends of the sectioned ligament with satisfactory results without forgetting that it is not a tissue of its own. Currently the relocation of own tissue with specific sutures "periosteal fascia" and thus interpose healthy tissue itself to not have retraction later.
The capacity of erection, fertilization, excitement and orgasm are exactly the same, but with an improved aesthetic appearance that always improves the version of you.
